QHC Consulting was setup in 2006 by Qamir Hussain as software consultancy company.

Qamir (Q) Hussain - CEO

Qamir has a BSc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, he almost holds a
Ph.D in computational neuroscience but that’s a story for another day.

Qamir’s been a software developer for over 12 years having cut his teeth with C/C++, Java, and few others other code-y type things he’s now a Rails developer.
Part of his Ph.D education was a trip to Stanford University working with the Archimedes group researching and developing accessible systems for disabled users,
some of this work included developing voice activated software to control house devices, including lights, TV’s, and Playstations. This exposed him to usability in a profound way,
and continues to be passionate about making the web applications easier and more effective.
